3 Years German Shepperd/Lab mix
Raven is a very happy go lucky dog. She is so sweet and a bit hyper. She loves to play and often needs to be told its time to stop. She is still learning boundaries and how to just sit still and stop wiggling. She is a medium/high energy. She would be fine with a first time owner as long as they put the time in to learn. She is good with kids, dogs, and strangers. She is an escape artist and is crate trained for when she is left unattended.
Raven came from an abuse and neglect situation and has a few quirks left over from it. She will drink water until she throws up and sometimes has a hard time sharing the water or food but nothing too serious. She also will cower if you need to reach into her kennel. She needs a patient but firm leader to show her what having a caring owner is all about.
She comes with training lessons as well as up to three daycare days per week for fre
2 year old German Shepperd
Maverick has more issues than not and we are working diligently to try and smooth out many of them. He has some OCD and will chase shadows, likely from playing with a laser pen. He has anxiety and some leash reactivity. During his stay we will be working the reactivity out of him as well as ecollar training him so he can hike and exercise off leash more and use that energy he has. We also hope that he will settle after he is neutered this month.
Despite his quirks we love him very much and he is very sweet once he settles into a routine. He will likely have hip issues when he's older due to poor breeding, and has the most adorable overbite.
His previous owner sponsored his ecollar training and stay here so we can try and find him the right home. He needs an experienced Shepperd owner and a home with an active lifestyle. Right now I don't think he would do well in a home with kids but that could easily change over time and with the training. He does well with dogs but can be a bit of a bully to submissive dogs so either a confident house mate or an owner comfortable setting the rules often.
His training comes with free follow up training for life. We are posting him up now but he wont be ready to leave until probably November.
Star (Star Fire)
3 Year old German Shepperd / Australian Shapperd
Star comes from a known abuse and neglect situation and is still very under weight as you cant go too fast putting the weight on. Despite her hard life she is still very trusting and loving and you would never know she had been through anything.
She comes with training lessons to teach you how to keep up what we have taught her and she can come to daycare for free for up to 3 days per week.
8 Month old Rottw
Maze is a short for Mazikeen. This pup is a spit fire but also a love bug. She had issues in her previous home with bite control, meaning biting too hard and using her mouth when she is angry. We have been working on it diligently and she hasn't had any issues like it in about a month but it comes out randomly sometime. We would like to send her to be fostered by a potential adopter first to be sure she is going to be good without us present.
She is an absolute love bug, though. She is very affectionate and loves being snuggled and loved on calmly. she is very playful and loves exploring. She would be an awesome hiking dog or farm worker. she has a ton of potential and we all love her dearly and just want her to find a home that will love her and give her the string leadership she needs to succeed. She needs an experienced owner and someone who isn't afraid to tell her no and teach her boundaries.
She is ecollar and leash trained and her adoption comes with free training lessons to teach her new home how to continue her learning and exposure. She is also welcome to attend Daycare for free, up to 3 days a week.
